Addicted to cookies? You bet I am!

 

It's true, I'm a cookie addict. I like every cookie (except for those with cinnamon - I'm allergic and they don't like me). Truth be told, I pretty much love sweets in general. Ice cream, pies, cakes, cupcakes...I'm drooling as I type. Hmmm, maybe a better name for my business would have been Confections of a Sugar Addict. 

 

So how did I get into baking? I'm a science geek and baking, well, it's just science. I have a degree in textile chemistry, which I was never able to use. (I married my high school sweetheart right out of college and followed him to rural Indiana instead of grad school. Absolutely no complaints here!) Enter my marketing & graphic design career (which I still do and have for 20+ years) but my passion has translated into cookies.

 

I LOVE to make, bake, and create the little "works of eat" you see online and I love that it makes the recipient so happy when they see them. It's a very rewarding part of my life and I am thriving, no reveling, in every moment.
